We have a fantastic permanent opportunity for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse on a full-time basis to start at a friendly family run practice, in Wigan. This role will include prep, surgery, and nurse clinics in a first opinion and referral hospital.

The Practice:

The practice is a family run business that truly believes in family values and the team is an extension

of that. The dedicated, friendly, and highly qualified veterinary surgeons and nurses in order to best treat the patients. In 2016 the practice was lucky enough to be established as a referral centre, with its in house MRI and CT scanning facilities, in which vets all over the North West can refer to them. They are an RCVS accredited training practice and maintain a tier 3 hospital status, referral centre and nurse training practice, and amongst the biggest asset, the team, have a wide range of services and equipment that

ensures that no two days are the same. They believe in a high standard of care for the patients and customers, and team harmony is also very important. They have a grooming salon within the practice and also a grooming school that is very popular. Also, has a sister company called Northwest MRI & CT that offers an outpatient service to other vets in the northwest area, which has been in steep growth over the past couple of years and is a credit to the work the team has put into it.

The Role:

This a full-time position where you will be working 40 hours a week, with a weekend rota of 1:5-1:6 Saturday mornings only. There are no out of hours required with this role supporting a great work/life balance.

The role will involve nursing duties including prep, surgery, and nurse clinics.

Our client is looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse that has experience working in a referral practice to join their friendly hardworking team. Great communication skills and patient care is required in this role along with excellent client care skills.
