We are working with a small animal practice that is based in Rayleigh Essex that is looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join them as their Lead Veterinary Surgeon. This is a full-time permanent role that would suit that is confident with sole charge, with ideally 3-5 years' experience in practice. You will be supported by a Head Nurse and a Student Nurse.
Our client offers a range of services for their patients, including microchipping, neutering, and vaccinations. The practices in the Essex region are supported by a 24 Hour practice based in Southend, which extends their access to a variety of further services, including Ultrasound, CT Imaging, and MRI. This practice a drive away from the famous Southend Pier and a multitude of shops, restaurants, bars, and shopping centres.

The Role and Candidate:
Our client is seeking a Lead Veterinary Surgeon to drive their practice forward! The ideal candidate will be confident sole charge, with ideally 3-5 years' experience in practice.
You will be a motivated individual who possesses leadership qualities, excellent communication, and a passion for patient and client care. Strong management and mentor skills are essential as you will play a crucial part in the team.
The practice has access to a variety of equipment and provides a range of services. Your role will be vital in maintaining the high standards that this practice boasts. The team at Rayleigh is supportive and well experienced.
This role covers 39 hours a week over a 4-day shift pattern, offering an attractive work-life balance.
