We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and progressive small animal vet to join our clients friendly and forward-thinking team. The role is based at their Warwickshire branch sites which are in the heart of their local communities serving a loyal and friendly client base.
Our clients' practice was established as a family-run business in the 1990s. Their five branches are supported by a team of highly qualified veterinary surgeons, nurses, and support staff who aim to provide a high-quality caring and professional service in a welcoming and relaxed environment.
As well as providing the highest standards of care for their patients they wish to develop an exceptional relationship with their owners. They endeavour to achieve this by offering continuity of vet whenever possible, encouraging client feedback and communication, and providing excellent and empathetic customer care.
They are committed to providing a service that is excellent value for money in terms of the level of clinical care and the range of preventative health services offered.
All the practices offer a comprehensive first opinion veterinary service. In addition, they offer a range of referral services including orthopaedic and spinal referrals, a full rehabilitation service with hydrotherapy suite, Opthalmology, acupuncture and laparoscopic procedures.
Our client requires a confident and motivated candidate who can work to a high standard of patient care both in sole charge and with the support network of our experienced team. You’ll be supported by 2 AVPs (Cert SAO & Cert SAS) and a range of vets with diverse interests, currently studying towards certificates in medicine, cardiology, imaging, and ECC plus a visiting ophthalmologist and dermatologist. Of course not forgetting the friendly team of excellent RVNs, reception staff, and students in every branch.
Our client will welcome applications for both part-time or full-time hours (minimum 2 full days). There is no OOH and weekends are equally shared between the vets, currently working 1 in 3 Saturdays.
Candidates will need to be competent in routine consultations and surgery with any specialist interests being welcomed and supported. Their RCVS accredited practices are equipped with a range of diagnostic equipment allowing thorough workups with the main branch in Worcester having an established orthopaedic referral service as well as CT scanner, laparoscopic surgery, and hydrotherapy unit.
In return for your hard work and dedication, our client is offering a competitive package that includes:
- Competitive Salary - Reflective of experience
- RCVS and VDS fees paid and either BSAVA or BVA.
- 5 days paid CPD and support for certificate studies.
- Healthshield cover and pension provided.
