We are working with a friendly small animal practice based in Beeston, Nottinghamshire that is looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join them on a full-time permanent basis.

The Practice:

This exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic veterinary surgeon to join the friendly team at our clients' established small animal practice in Beeston, on a full-time basis. They are dedicated to providing superb standards of client and animal care and are proud of the reputation they have built within the local community. They have a modern surgery that has been designed to industry-leading standards and has state of the art equipment and in-house laboratory facilities. You’ll be joining the Practice owner, a 2002 Edinburgh graduate, as the second Vet in the practice, supported by a strong clinical and non-clinical team. The practice is well connected with trains to Nottingham in 6-10 minutes, Derby 20-25 mins, Loughborough 9-16 mins. The M1 is just 15 minutes away.

If you share our clients' passion for delivering outstanding pet healthcare and great customer service and would like to join their team, we would love to hear from you.

The Role:

The ideal candidate will have good general small animal surgical and medical skills and have a good knowledge and experience of working up cases. If you are a recent graduate and have a strong passion to learn and continue to grow into the role, they can also support you with this.

This rewarding position is full-time and will include Saturday mornings on a rota basis which will be a sole charge shift. There are no Sunday working or OOH’s requirements supporting a great work/life balance. As they are a small team, they will need to be adaptable and flexible.

The Package:

As you would expect from the market leader in small animal veterinary care, our client offers an excellent package that includes:

  • Excellent career opportunities and development due to a varied caseload
  • Competitive salary commensurate with experience
  • Contributory pension scheme
  • Paid memberships (RCVS, VDS)
  • Exclusive company discounts and rewards
