Technical Sales/Customer Advisor
We are currently working with a successful independent company that supplies the Veterinary market both nationally and internationally with implants and instruments. They are now looking to recruit a Technical Sales/Customer Advisor with a Veterinary Nursing background to join their progressive team.
Based in the Hampshire area this expanding company has its own manufacturing facility and product design service. They are a professional team who pride themselves on their customer care and service to the Veterinary industry.
This is a customer service/sales position. The successful applicant will act as the customer-facing part of the supply chain, with stores and despatch activity. Initially office based progressing to visits to current and potential clients in the Hampshire and surrounding area and attending trade shows and events. The client will provide training and development to develop further into the sales aspect of the role. The hours of work will be Monday to Friday 8.30 - 17.30.
Duties will include :-
Customer order entry
Goods picking and labelling
Invoice and shipping of goods
Customer communication (phone-email)
Technical backup to the sales team
Attending shows and exhibitions when required
Local sales visits when required
Veterinary practice knowledge e.g. Veterinary Nurse
IT literate - Microsoft Office /Excel
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Skills Desired but not essential :-
Working knowledge of Sage or Quickbooks
Previous experience in a similar role
The ideal candidate would be a veterinary nurse or someone who has worked in a similar post who has gained experience working in a veterinary orthopaedic setting or referral hospital. A car driver who is able to display good customer care skills and capable of working well within a team player. The successful applicant can expect to be well remunerated and offered the opportunity to grow and develop within their new position.
