We are working with a modern and well-equipped small animal veterinary practice in Barnsley, South Yorkshire that is looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join them in a Senior position. This is a full-time permanent role where there is the potential to progress.

The Practice:

Our client is looking for a friendly colleague to join their small and very welcoming team. The team consists of 3 Vets, 3 RVN’s, a team of Client Care Advisors, a Veterinary Care Assistant, and a Practice Manager. The practice is very modern and includes Digital X-ray, Ultrasound, and an in-house lab including Biochem/Haematology.

The Role:

This role is a full-time position with some element of sole charge (primarily at weekends). It will include a weekend rota of 1 in 2 weekends, with alternating weeks of 1 and 2 weekdays off. There is no OOHs responsibility ensuring a great work/life balance!

The Candidate

You will be approachable and recognise the importance of building trusted relationships with your patients, clients, and colleagues. As an experienced Vet, you will be confident with routine surgical and medical cases and work to high standards. There could be potential to progress to a Lead Vet Role or practice ownership opportunities, as professional development is supported and encouraged.
