Permanent Experienced Veterinary Surgeon - Stevenage

We have an exciting opportunity for a confident and experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join our clients' friendly small animal practice in Stevenage. You will be joining a friendly and established team on a full or part-time permanent basis.

The Practice:

You will be joining a stable and knowledgeable team consisting of 1 Vet, 2 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 1 Student Nurse, 1 Veterinary Care Assistant, and 2 Receptionists. Their nurses hold Certificates in feline medicine and exotics and they are working towards gaining the gold standard in rabbit care. As a result of this, they see a real variety of cases including lots of small furries! You will also have both face-to-face and remote support from the Clinical Development Manager (a qualified vet) when required.

Stevenage benefits from direct train links into Central London in under half an hour and the practice is based just a 5-minute walk from the train station. They also, offer free onsite parking. The practice is purpose-built with state-of-the-art facilities including digital X-ray, ultrasound, and in house lab.

The Role and Candidate:

You will be an experienced Veterinary Surgeon that is comfortable with some sole charge responsibility, supported by a strong clinical team, and confident with routine surgery and medicine. 

To be successful in this role you will be a Vet who enjoys building strong relationships with your patients, clients, and wider team. If you have an interest in internal medicine, dermatology or exotics is would be wonderful but not essential!

There will be no OOH! The role is 35 hours a week, offering flexible working would consider working over 5 days instead of 4. All of their colleagues enjoy an excellent work/life balance!
