We are working with a client with a 24-hour practice based in South West London that is looking to recruit a full-time Registered Veterinary Nurse to join them as their Deputy Head Nurse. This exciting full-time permanent role would suit an experienced RVN that enjoys working in a hospital environment

The Practice:

Our client is a rapidly growing, small animal veterinary practice based in South West London. They are a dedicated practice that is committed to not only investing in state of the art equipment to give patients access to the best possible facilities, but they are also dedicated to being able to offer the best possible care for all pets through their dedicated and experienced vets and nurses. You will be joining a friendly and supportive team of 7 vets, 6 RVN’s, 5 student nurses backed by a large support team.

The Role: 

Our client is looking for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join the team as Deputy Head Veterinary Nurse at our fantastic hospital based in Richmond.

The role will involve all aspects of nursing as well as assisting the Head Veterinary Nurse with the day-to-day running of the practice. This position provides you with the opportunity to develop nursing clinics and use your initiative to promote new ideas; more responsibilities will form part of this role with full support being provided by the nursing team.

As a Deputy Head Veterinary Nurse, you will be responsible for a variety of nursing duties as well as sharing best practices with your team and helping to support and develop the student nurses in your practice.

This is a full-time permanent position, covering 40 hours a week over 5 days. This shift pattern includes 1:4 full weekends.

You must be a Veterinary Nurse who is registered with the RCVS.

Previous experience working in a small animal practice is required.
