We are working with a friendly small animal veterinary practice in Nottingham that is looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join them on a full-time permanent basis from October 2020.

If you are a proactive Vet who is happy to take on a fast-growing caseload, confident in all routine procedures, and capable of sole charge, you could be the ideal Vet to join our clients' small but forward-thinking team.

The Practice:

This practice takes great pride in ensuring they deliver an exceptional standard of care to clients and their pets. They really value the personal touch that they offer and is looking for someone who shares this value. The team is extremely friendly, proactive, and organised and all enjoy a cup of tea while talking through cases.

This practice is only 18 months old has state of the art equipment including digital X-ray and in-house laboratory facilities, separate kennel rooms and theatre. The practice has recently obtained its RCVS accreditation to GP level as well as becoming cat friendly. They are located just a short walk from a vibrant town centre, with excellent transport links directly into Nottingham city centre and east midlands airport. 

The Role and Candidate:

This practice is really looking forward to welcoming a new colleague to become a part of their dynamic team and share in the accomplishment of establishing this exciting new surgery.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills, enjoy the variance that clinic practice brings, want to work to the best clinical standards with the safe knowledge there is a supportive team with them. They will also actively support any further career development the candidate may want to specialise in. You will have 2+ years of experience and be comfortable with routine ops and consulting.

This is permanent full-time hours where you will be working Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday 09:00-19:00 (with 1-hour lunch and break times). The weekend rota is only 1 in 2 Saturdays 09:00-12:00, with no Sundays or out of hours giving you a great work/life balance.

The role is 100% sole charge so you must be comfortable with this. You will be joining 2 RVN's and the successful candidate will be the lead vet until the practice grows and can hire more vets
