We are working with mixed animal veterinary group that is based in Scotland that is looking for an experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join them as their Lead Vet on a permanent basis. The position is ideally suited to one full-time or two part-time vets. As working in sole charge or as part of a small team is a key feature of this role, the ideal candidate will have at least two years relevant career experience
We have an exciting opportunity for a small animal veterinary surgeon to lead our clients' brand-new surgery near to Perth in Scotland. Our client has a long history in Angus and East Perthshire and they are looking forward to extending their high standards of care to the pets and people in the area from late summer 2020.
Their new premises are in a central location with a large car-park and is currently undergoing a refit. It will be spacious, modern, and designed with the client's journey in mind. It will be fully equipped with all the surgical and diagnostic kit required for you to deliver the highest standards of care in first opinion practice.
This is a small, vibrant rural town just outside of Perth and is steeped in Scottish history and folklore. It is a perfect base for young families and outdoor enthusiasts as well as enjoying all the benefits of city culture, facilities and nightlife just 10 minutes down the road. For people who already live in the area, you will know what a great place it is to live and bring up a family! The Role and Candidate:
This exciting opportunity is for an experienced small animal Veterinary Surgeon to join our client in a Lead Vet role. The position is ideally suited to one full-time or two part-time vets, full details will be discussed in the interview.
Our client is proud to offer their own out-of-hours service to their clients which is provided by the team of mixed vets. In your small animal only role you will not be on the on-call rota, however, a limited amount of in-patient care may be required. Some evenings and Saturday mornings will also be involved in the job role.
As working in sole charge or as part of a small team is a key feature of this role, the ideal candidate will have at least two years of relevant career experience. However, full support from the management team and the wider family will of course be readily available. Additionally, in your role, you will work alongside the full complement of reception and administration staff and registered veterinary nurses.
