We are working with a busy veterinary practice in Wallasey, Merseyside, to help them find a full-time Veterinary Surgeon with the potential to become Clinical Lead.
Just minutes through the famous Mersey tunnel to the vibrant city of Liverpool, the practice is easily accessible with excellent train and motorway links to the glorious coast and countryside of North Wales, the Lake District and the city of Manchester is less than an hour away.
The bright, very spacious surgery is purpose-built to industry-leading standards with excellent facilities including a laboratory, operating theatres, pharmacy, digital X-ray, and ultrasound. The team is passionate about providing the very best care for their clients and patients. They are a growing practice with a good variety of cases and are keen to support suitable candidates to develop their skills and experience in any areas of special interest.
The Role and Candidate:
Our client is looking for a Vet with around 5-8 years’ good medical and surgical experience, who is looking to consolidate their knowledge and take the clinical lead in this growing business. You’ll have strong communication and interpersonal skills and genuinely enjoy interacting with your clients and their animals. The full-time hours are up to a 40 hour week covering weekends on a rota. The practice is open 7 days per week and the position is full time, however, they may consider less than this for the right candidate.
You’ll need to feel completely confident in sole charge but there is no OOH requirement. An interest in surgery is particularly welcomed as the practice matures.
