We are working with a 100% small animal Veterinary Practice in the heart of West Sussex in the Crawley area that is looking for a friendly, caring Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. They are a training practice so ideally, they are looking for an experienced RVN with an interest in Clinical Coaching.

The Practice:

Our client is a busy 100% small animal practice that has a team of 4-vet, 6-RVN, and is also a training practice. They are an RCVS accredited practice and have won multiple customer service awards. They are well-established and have been providing exceptional care to dogs, cats, rabbits, exotic pets, and probably all other domestic animals you can think of! They're truly passionate about keeping pets happy and healthy!

Their fresh, bright practice is equipped with state-of-the-art, air-conditioned facilities, designed to provide the best for pets, every step of the way. They are fully equipped to give pets exceptional veterinary care, Their facilities include, three consultation rooms, the latest diagnoses equipment including x-ray and ultrasound, a laboratory, day patient kennels, two operating theatres (including a dental theatre), and an isolation unit.

Other facilities include an on-site car park for clients and a pet health and lifestyle shop in the reception area. 

The Role and Candidate:

This will be a full-time permanent position, where you will be working 36hrs per week with 1 in 4 Saturday mornings,. The role will involve working in theatre, hospital, assisting vets in consult, and carrying out nurse-led clinics including Hyper & Hypothyroid, Mobility, Diabetic, Renal, Cardiac Care, and Weight Management clinics. All RVNs are actively encouraged to perform all tasks that they are trained for including dental scale and polishes, radiographs, blood sampling, and cannula placement.

Our client is looking for a friendly and compassionate Registered Veterinary Nurse that works well as part of a team. You will have excellent communication and client care skills.

At this practice both diploma and degree students on placement therefore an interest in Clinical Coaching would be a bonus.

The Package:

In return for your hard work and dedication, our client is offering an excellent salary of between £22,400 - £30,500 p/a depending on experience and a benefits package that includes:
