Permanent Registered Veterinary Nurse, Birmingham

We are working with a friendly and close-knit small animal veterinary practice based close to Birmingham that is looking for Registered Veterinary Nurser to join them on a full-time permanent basis, although part-time applications would also be considered. Our client has five practices based in the Birmingham area.

The Practice:

Our client is big enough to offer award-winning care, facilities, and expertise for much-loved pets, small enough to care for pets and their owners as unique individuals and support their local community too.

Priding themselves on being at the heart of veterinary excellence, they have constantly pushed the boundaries on delivering the highest pet care through the calibre and qualifications of Vets and Nurses and through the friendliness and professionalism of their Client Care teams. This has meant that they have continually reinvested back into the Black Country to fund improvements and extensions over the years.

The Role and Candidate:

Our client is looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse who supports the care of animals receiving treatment within the practice. You will work as a strong team member, providing expert nursing care for sick animals whilst playing a significant role in educating owners on maintaining the health of their pets.

You will be joining a supportive team of 16 Vet Surgeons, 30+ RVN’s and a dedicated client support team. They pride themselves on a high percentage of insured clients and our supportive insurance team. They offer superior care and have the professional satisfaction of providing their own in-house OOH, while an attractive rota of 1 in 4 weekends is offered. This role is ideally full-time working 37.5 hours per week, however, part-time and flexible working patterns considered

The Package:

In return, our client is offering a competitive salary (reflective of experience) and benefits that include:

  • Health Plan and Mental Health Support
  • Generous holiday, and an extra days holiday for your birthday
  • RCVS /VDS membership fully funded
  • Internal recognition scheme
  • Staff Discount on pet care
  • And so much more
