We are working with a client based in North West London that is looking to recruit a full time permanent Veterinary Surgeon. The role is a mixture of days and nights, meaning that it is fully exposed to all aspects of Veterinary work in the hospital, including emergency admits and consults.
This role is responsible for delivering clinical care to the hospital’s patients and client care to their owners. It is paramount that this role delivers client satisfaction to an exceptional level this includes making all interactions with clients fully focused on delivering value, exceptional service and bringing warmth to the clients.
You will be working is a rota that combines day and night shifts.
Our client has practices across North London, Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire, which includes four 24-hour emergency hospitals and a specialist referral centre in London. They have nearly 300 staff, including specialists in Soft Tissue Surgery, Dermatology and Emergency and Critical Care, staff with certificates in feline practice, and residency trained consultants in anaesthesia and analgesia and internal medicine. Due to the various sizes of our clients' practices, the pace of work ranges from quieter practice through to a busy hospital.
Your responsibilities will include patient/clinical care, client care, business development and team work. You will be self-aware with a positive attitude and receptive to change, an effective communicator both within the team and clients.
They are looking for a vet with strong small animal surgical experience - medical and routine with awareness of the operational aspects of the practice that affect practice profitability. You will have the ability to lead when the most senior person on shift or in the room, and also have to work in a sole charge role. If you have experience of a night vet role this would be of benefit.

To qualify for this position you must be fully registered with the RCVS and you must be eligible to work in the UK.
