We are currently working with a superb independent mixed practice based in East Cambridgeshire that is looking for a Mixed Veterinary Surgeon (Large/Equine) to join their team on a permanent basis.
The Practice:
This is a lovely opportunity for a Mixed Vet to join a dedicated team of 8 other vets working in a purpose-built Equine and Farm Animal Clinic with a split of 70% Equine/30% Farm. The practice has been established for over 20 years now and has a growing and wide reach of clients based in the rural areas of Cambridgeshire, Suffolk, Bedfordshire, South Lincolnshire and Norfolk. They provide both ambulatory and inpatient care and have the latest technology to assist in diagnosis and treatment.
The Role:
This is a permanent full-time mixed (Large/Equine) veterinary post involving some sole charge working Monday- Friday 8.30 - 17.30 with 1:8 nights on call mid-week, 1:8 on-call weekend Friday night through till Monday morning - Second on call 1:8.
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have good communication and customer care skills possessing the ability to build good relationships. The successful candidate will have at least 2 years’ minimum ambulatory experience and will be keen to develop their ongoing skills. Support and encouragement will be provided for those wishing to attain a certificate.
