We are currently recruiting on behalf of a busy, dedicated independent practice situated Nr Newquay in Cornwall. This practice is looking for a 100% Equine Veterinary Surgeon to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.
The Practice:
This is a well-established, dedicated equine practice based in Cornwall. The client is an RCVS accredited Equine practice and their facilities are built to hospital standards. This award winning equine practice are able to perform almost all medical and surgical procedures on-site, with even more clients bringing their horses, ponies or donkeys to the practice than ever before. Our client also has an American barn type stables which allows their clients to leave their animal with them.
The Role:
This is a full time, permanent position working a 4 day week between 08:30-17:00. There is a 1:4 weekend and an out of hours rota which is working in practice on Saturday and then being on call over the weekend.
Our client is 100% dedicated equine practice and this role will be a mixture of ambulatory work and practice work.
The Candidate:
Our client is ideally looking for a candidate with several years’ experience, although they would consider a new graduate for this position. They have a highly experience equine team of 5 vets already in the practice so they are able to take on a new graduate. The position would suit a candidate who has had experience working in an ambulatory position previously as there is a lot of work out on the road.
