We are working with a client that is looking to recruit a Head Registered Veterinary Nurse on a permanent basis. This position is full or part time to join our clients small animal practice based in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire.
The Practice:
Our client has a team that comprises 4 Vets, 3 Veterinary Nurses, 1 Veterinary Care Assistant and 3 Receptionists. They all share a passion for pets, providing a first class service, patient well-being, and preventative care and they also have a keen interest in Orthopaedics. The facilities at their modern and purpose built surgery support them in doing so and they have access to a variety of state of the art equipment including digital X-ray and ultrasound.
The Role:
This is a flexible role working either full or part time as the practices Head Veterinary Nurse.
The full-time position is working 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts between 08:00 & 19:00. There is a 1:4 weekend rota in which you will work 8 hours on both days and the hours are compensated for during the week running up to the working weekend. There are absolutely no out of hours with this role either, making for an excellent work/life balance.
If you are looking for part time hours our client is flexible to accommodate this. They are happy to discuss your availability alongside their requirements.
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational skills, be a strong communicator and have good general nursing skills. Above everything, you should be passionate about animal care and be dedicated to delivering a gold standard of care.
