We are working with a client that is looking for a dynamic and experienced veterinary surgeon to run their newly-acquired practice near Leicester, which is currently undergoing a full refurbishment.
The Practice
The practice will be fitted with brand new equipment which will enable you to deliver top-class care to your patients. You will be supported by another vet as well as a supportive nursing team, all of whom are dedicated to their clients and patients. The surgical caseload is high, so you need to be a confident general surgeon, but you will also enjoy the support of vets at our nearby practices if needed.
The Candidate
Applicants must have a client-oriented approach and excellent communication skills, work to a very high standard both medically and surgically, and have the drive and ambition to help develop this practice further. This practice is ideal for a vet looking to get into partnership for a relatively small investment.
The Role
Our client is looking for an experienced veterinary surgeon to lead their practice. This is a full time role, the shift pattern (including weekends/OOH’s) is to be confirmed.

Our client is offering a package worth between £50,000-£60,000 (depending on experience and capability), including:
• Accommodation or £6,600 accommodation allowance
• Vehicle or £2,500 vehicle allowance
• £1,500 CPD allowance with 2 days’ CPD leave, and in-house CPD training
• 4.5 day week
• VDS, RCVS and BVA fees paid
• 5 weeks’ annual leave

To qualify for this position you must be fully registered with the RCVS and you must be eligible to work in the UK.
