Locum Official Veterinarians (OV) - ASAP - Ongoing

  • Role: Locum Official Veterinarians (OV)
  • Type: OCQ(V)-ES is essential, OCQ(V)-TT and OCQ(V)-SS are desirable.
  • Location: Across the UK
  • Start date: ASAP
  • End date: Ongoing
  • Duration info: The start date can be anytime after 3rd May and the end date is negotiable/flexible
  • Hours of Work:
    • The usual work pattern will be Monday to Friday, 7.5 hrs per day, usually within the period 06:00 – 22:00 hrs unless by agreement.
    • Weekend/Bank Holiday working is likely to be required but will be agreed in advance as dictated by the demands on the Agency.
  • Location: Available across the UK - see list below
  • Official Controls Qualifications (Veterinary) required: OCQ(V)-ES is essential, and the veterinarian must hold a valid accreditation upon application, and for the entire deployment period. OCQ(V)-TT and OCQ(V)-SS is desirable.

    • Horley (Surrey) – 1 vet
    • Suffolk – 1 vet
    • Cornwall – 2 vets
    • Devon – 1 vet
    • Mid Wales (Llandrindod Wells) – 3 vets
    • South Wales (Carmarthen) – 1 vet
    • Inverness – 1 vet
    • Inverurie – 2 vets
