Locum Vet - Ross-shire, Scotland - June - September

  • Role: Locum Veterinary Surgeon
  • Type: A small animal vet OR a mixed vet who is happy and capable of working in a predominantly small animal role.
  • Location: Scottish Highlands
  • Start Date: June
  • Finish Date: September
  • Hours: They would ideally negotiate week-long durations of work (Monday-Friday with standard hours of 9 am-6.30 pm) and would welcome vets that can work periods beyond 1 week at a time.
  • OOHS: The ideal candidate would also be able to do OOH work, and the practice can offer to work around a small animal-only vet only covering SA OOH and another vet fulfilling the LA component. They also have RVNs on call at all times to assist the vet on call.
  • Sole Charge: The locum may be asked to carry out sole charge work, but they can work around this if it hampers availability. 
  • Accommodation/Vehicle: They have a vehicle available for use as well as accommodation that can be used flexibly after the period of work to stay in to allow the lucky vet to explore the Highlands from!
  • Pay Rate: Negotiable / Dependent on Experience
