Job Title: Locum Veterinary Surgeon (Small Animal)


Location: Wakefield, West Yorkshire


We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Locum Veterinary Surgeon specialising in small animals to join a vibrant veterinary practice located in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. This role offers a unique opportunity to work within a team of experienced professionals, equipped with state-of-the-art technology and facilities such as an operating suite, digital x-ray, and in-house laboratory.


Key Responsibilities:

- Provide high-quality veterinary care to a diverse range of small animals.

- Consult and perform operations, depending on the shift.

- Collaborate with a team of experienced vets, registered veterinary nurses, student nurses, and support staff.


Working Hours:

The practice operates six days a week. The role includes a mix of shifts, including 9 am - 7 pm and 9 am - 5 pm. The 9 am - 7 pm shift can involve a mix of consultations and operations or consultations only, while the 9 am - 5 pm shift is consultations only.
