We are working with a mixed practice based in Pembrokeshire, South Wales that is looking to recruit 2 Veterinary Surgeons.
As they are a mixed practice that are open to applications from mixed Vets 50% Small / 50% Large (No Equine), 100% Small Animal Vet or 100% Large Animal.
The Practice:
Our client is based in Pembrokeshire and comprises of two branches that caters for both small and large animals. There are 12 vets within this independent group and the practices are able to offer all kinds of veterinary surgery including orthopaedics and have all of the latest equipment and facilities.
The Role:
The practice is looking for 2 surgeons so they could take two mixed vets, or one large and one small animal vet. The role is working full-time Monday to Friday 8:30 am- 18:00 pm, with a 1:4 OOH’s and weekends.
The small animal dept. offer a comprehensive range of small animal services, to provide clients with state of the art healthcare for their pets.
For the mixed role, the split is 50/50 with no equine requirements. They offer a wide range of services for farm clients including herd health and productivity planning, routine fertility work including data mining for Interherd and CIS users, mastitis investigation, disease outbreak investigation, young stock checks, lameness prevention, and treatment.
The Candidate:
The practice is happy to consider new graduates, right through to certificate holders and as so the salary is commensurate with experience.
New graduates would start around £29,000-£30,000 p/a and this would increase with the level of experience of the candidate.
