We are currently working with an accredited, well-established Tier 3 Hospital based in Wolverhampton, West Midlands that is looking to recruit a permanent small animal veterinary surgeon to join their team. This would be an ideal opportunity for an enthusiastic recent graduate as ongoing support and encouragement are a given.
The Client:
Our client has been established for over 40 years and was one of the first practices in the country to be granted hospital status by the RCVS. The practice has been classified as a veterinary hospital since opening and has continued to keep a high standard of care and to continually improve their facilities and service. Our client has a dedicated team of 11 vets including several specialists and a dedicated nursing team.
The Role:
This is a permanent full-time role working Monday-Friday (3 days - 9.00-19.00, 1 day 9.00-15.00 & 1 day 9.00-13.00). The weekend rota is 1:8 full weekends which will include on call and 1:8 Saturdays only. The out of hours rota is 1 night per week.
This post may also include some sole charge at one of the branches however, the successful candidate will always have access to support.
The Candidate
The practice would consider a recent or new graduate for this position or a vet with a minimum of 2 years’ experience who is looking to grow and develop.

Salary: Circa £30,000
Benefits: CPD - £1000/5days, Bonus for OOHs work, RCVS fees, BUPA scheme available and 28 days holidays
To qualify for this position you must be fully registered with the RCVS and you must be eligible to work in the UK.
