We are currently working with a lovely, friendly independent practice in St Helens, Merseyside that is looking to recruit an out of hours Registered Veterinary Nurse on a permanent basis.
The role is full-time and our client is offering a flexible shift pattern to help work life balance.
The Practice:
This independent veterinary group is owned by veterinary surgeons who are able to offer a professional, plus referral service both in the local community and nationally. Their dedicated team of vets and nurses are happy to provide a comprehensive and caring service from their local branch practices as well, as their small animal hospital which is at the centre of their referral network.
This current permanent full-time vacancy is based at one of their branches in Merseyside working alongside 1 vet and 5 nurses.
The practice is able to provide the following services: back up of a large hospital & referral centre, blood sampling service, home visits, nurse clinics and has up to date facilities which include dentistry equipment, X- ray facilities, and ultrasound.
The Role:
This is a full-time permanent role working solely out of hours. The hours on offer can be flexible to suit the right candidate but the shifts will be something similar to 7 pm - 7 am / 8 pm - 8 am etc.
The position is 100% small animal and our client has an excellent, friendly team and more than usual in terms of equipment, skills, and support.
The Candidate:
This post would suit a Registered Veterinary Nurse with a keen interest in emergency and critical care. This role will give you involvement in the care of a wide range of medical and surgical cases.
