We are currently working with a lovely, friendly independent practice in East Merseyside that is looking to recruit a small animal OOH's vet on a permanent basis.
They are looking for team members who have a keen interest in emergency and critical care. The roles will allow involvement in the care of a wide range of medical and surgical cases.
Flexible shift pattern to help work life balance. The position is 100% small animal. They have an excellent, friendly team and more than usual in terms of equipment, skills and support.
The Practice:
This independent veterinary group is owned by veterinary surgeons who are able to offer a professional, plus referral service both in the local community and nationally. Their dedicated team of vets and nurses are happy to provide a comprehensive and caring service from their local branch practices as well, as their small animal hospital which is at the centre of their referral network.
This current permanent full time vacancy is based at one of their branches in Merseyside working alongside 1 vet and 5 nurses.
The practice is able to provide the following services: back up of a large hospital & referral centre, blood sampling service, home visits, nurse clinics and has up to date facilities which include dentistry equipment, X- ray facilities, and ultrasound.
The Role:
This is an OOH's role working 3 x 12 hour shifts per week, the hours can be flexible to suit, but would be something similar to 7pm-7am/ 8pm-8am etc.
The Candidate:
This post would suit a small animal vet with an interest in ECC/ OOH's and nights.
