We are currently recruiting on behalf of a small animal practice based in Melton Mowbray who are looking for a permanent, registered veterinary nurse to join their team on a part time basis.
Our client is a dedicated, small animal practice based in Melton Mowbray who pride themselves on providing an excellent patient care and being able to understand the needs and concerns of each individual pet. As a relatively new practice, our client is equipped with the latest equipment and are able to provide a 24 hour emergency service, ensuring a continuity of care. They have separate dog and cat wards and a specious prep area which leads to a dedicates operating theatre.
This is a part time position, working 24 hours a week over Monday, Tuesday and Friday. This position is working 8 hour shifts which will either be 08:30-17:30 or 09:30-18:30. There is also a requirement for 1 night on call per week and 1 weekend on call per month. You will be joining a team of 2 RVNS and 2 receptionist so there will be very little if any reception work and will be based around general nursing duties.
In return, they are offering a salary that is competitive.
To qualify for this position you must be fully registered with the RCVS and you must be eligible to work in the UK.
