We are currently recruiting on behalf of a large, well-established small animal practice in North West London who are looking for a permanent vet to join their team on a part-time basis.
The Practice:
This is a friendly, independent practice located in North West London. Their clients are Insured, high-end clients with a strong human animal bond. Their pets are a very important part of their family. These clients require thoroughness and attention to detail in every aspect of practice service and clinical approach.
Their vets are expected to offer and be informed of up to date, current available medicine and procedures as part of a holistic approach to veterinary care.
They are looking to recruit a General practitioner position to work within a supportive team with clinical freedom (as long as it of a high standard and improving current standards)
The practice use visiting specialists in ultrasonography, orthopaedics and complex soft tissue surgery, dentistry (root canal treatment etc.) and cardiology.
The Role:
This is a part time position, our client is looking for someone to cover between 2 & 4 days per week. Standard days are 09:00-19:00, there are no OOH.
Weekends are on a rota of 1:3 & involve working 08:00-16:00 with time given back in lieu.
This is a GP role, the ideal candidate must be confident in all routine surgery and consults, probably with around 5 years of clinical experience. They must be caring, compassionate and able to provide an excellent standard of service. The practice operate on 20-30 minute appointment times, they insist on a low volume of clients and procedures per day to ensure that high levels of care can be attained.
Our client requires someone with excellent communication skills who is enthusiastic & passionate and can offer advice & support to less experienced colleagues.
