We are working with a group of practices in Abingdon area of Oxfordshire that is looking for an enthusiastic small animal Veterinary Surgeon to join them on a full-time permanent basis. This role is to cover any of our clients' 4 practices and would suit an experienced Vet.
The Practice:
This is an established practice that provides the highest quality veterinary services to their clients 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. This well-established practice is one of five in the group and is the primary centre for surgery.
The practice offers the latest state-of-the-art equipment, to ensure prompt diagnoses and the most effective treatments. Their surgery has been designed to industry-leading standards and has state of the art equipment including in-house operating theatre and laboratory, digital x-ray, specialist dental equipment and much more. Their highly trained veterinary surgeons and nurses are kept constantly updated on the latest innovations and protocols. They offer a full range of treatments from health checks to emergency operations and they are always committed to providing exceptional veterinary services.
The Role and Candidate:
This is a full-time permanent position which will include a weekend working pattern of 1 full weekend and 1 Saturday every 7 weeks. The Bank Holidays will be worked on a shared rota basis.
With no out of hours required, as this is covered by a dedicated night team, this role gives you a great work/life balance.
The successful candidate will be covering any of our clients' branches, which will give you a great opportunity to see varied cases and experiences.
