Team Info: The team is made up of 7 vets, 6 RVNs, 2 SVNs, and 2 ANAs. They also have an excellent support function of 5 receptionists and a practice manager.
Culture: By far the best part of their practice is their close-knit team. They have many longstanding employees, (one has been with them for 36 years!), and they pride themselves on their supportive teamwork and can-do attitude as this is what helps to deliver that excellent standard of care to patients. They are also an approved Nurse Training practice and are devoted to the development of staff and strongly encourage case discussions.
Facilities: Their RCVS accredited, first-opinion practice is modern, having been recently refurbished to a high standard, and they are well equipped with 4 consulting rooms, an operating theatre, a large prep room, a dental suite, and an imaging room!
Hours: They care about the well-being of their team and are happy to accept both full/part-time applications to suit you. Full-time shifts are usually 40 hours per week, across 4 days, 8:30 am- 7 pm, with a share of 1:4 Saturdays. There is no out-of-hours requirement.
Applicant Requirements: Their ideal candidate will be an experienced and confident vet who is looking to take the next step in their career. Previous leadership experience would be an advantage but is not essential as training and support will be given.
