Permanent Clinical Manager/Head Veterinary Nurse, New Malden

We are recruiting on behalf of a busy friendly and supportive small animal practice in New Malden, South West London that is looking to recruit a personable Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their friendly and established team. You will be joining our client in a Clinical Manager/Head Veterinary Nurse role.

The Practice: 

You will be joining a friendly, supportive team of 4 vets, one of which has a certificate in medicine, 2 RVNs, 1 Practice Manager (who is also an RVN), 2 Student Nurses, 2 Veterinary Care Assistants, and 5 Receptionists. They have a variety of interests within the team including feline medicine and small animal behaviour. They offer a generous CPD budget and are happy to support individual interests!

Based in South West London, close to the A3, they are situated in a lovely area with free onsite parking. They are near Wimbledon tennis and just a 10-minute walk from Raynes Park train station with direct trains into central London in under half an hour. They have great equipment including the most up-to-date in-house idexx blood machines, a new ‘laptop’ ultrasound machine, and an amazing direct digital X-ray machine which is one of the best in the whole country!

The Role and Candidate 

The main purpose of the job:

With the support of the wider nursing team, assist the JVP(s) and Veterinary Surgeon(s) in the day-to-day clinical duties with emphasis on providing the best standard of patient care. Support in the day-to-day organisation of the practice to ensure a professional service and good working relations with all clients and suppliers, contributing to maximising turnover and growing the profitability of the business.

This is a permanent role where you will be working full-time, exact rota to be discussed in the interview.
