Permanent Deputy Head Registered Veterinary Nurse - Westminster, Central London

Practice: They are part of an independent group of surgeries in Kent, Surrey, and London

Team: A 3 vet practice with long-serving wealthy clientele

Role: They are looking for a dedicated and experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse who values patient care and progression to join our team as Deputy Head Registered Veterinary Nurse.

Duties: They have a really exciting and varied caseload where you’ll be fully involved in cases, giving you the opportunity to work within your own areas of interest – whether you are an all-rounder and enjoy all areas of nursing, or maybe surgery, wards, anaesthesia, or intensive care is your thing, they are happy to foster your interests and help you become the RVN you strive to be.

Hours: Full-time, working a 4-day week with 1:4 weekends (TOIL for weekends worked!)

What you can expect:

  • As Deputy HRVN, your duties will include day-to-day running of the floor and liaising with the senior management team, planning and improving strategies for performance on the floor, leading the development of the team of RVNs and VCAs, rota management, and most importantly - fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.
  • You'll play an integral part of their dedicated day team, providing compassionate care and support to patients in need. They are looking for someone with strong clinical skills and the ability to handle emergency situations with confidence. You must have excellent communication skills and teamworking abilities and have a compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.

Salary: They are offering an amazing salary on offer of up to £38,000 p/a - Depending on Experience
