Permanent ECC RVN Night Nurse: West Sussex
Our client is able to offer a fantastic opportunity for an RVN who enjoys the challenge and variety of night work and is enthusiastic about nursing to join their experienced and fantastic team on a permanent basis in their practice in West Sussex.
The Practice:
Based within their beautifully refurbished, flagship hospital, designed to the highest standards with comprehensive facilities, and nestled at the foot of the South Downs National Park in sunny West Sussex. The Role:
This is a permanent full-time night position working with experienced and ECC dedicated vets who are both friendly and excellent team players. ANAs are also on-site to allow their nurses to nurse. It will involve seeing first opinion emergencies alongside providing continuous care for their inpatients. The hours are 19.00 - 7.30 3 nights on followed by 6 nights off aimed at creating a good work-life balance.
The Candidate:
The successful candidate would need to display a variety of abilities including good personal skills which are essential as the practice prides itself on the compassion they show to their clients as well as their patients. You must also be comfortable with all aspects of general nursing and be competent in emergency medical and surgical nursing including challenging anaesthetics. That said, although experience in emergency care is preferred this is not essential and applicants with a strong passion for this discipline would also be considered, plus consideration given towards funding for an ECC certificate. Excellent communication skills are a prerequisite for this post as It is vitally important that the nurse who joins them understands the value and importance of teamwork across all disciplines and departments to ensure & maintain the continuity of care provided by both the day and night teams.
