Permanent Equine Veterinary Surgeon - Castle Cary, Somerset

Job Title: Permanent Veterinary Surgeon

Location: In the Castle Cary area of Somerset

Practice Type: The practice has a strong foundation and presence in the community, having been established for over 100 years. They are a progressive equine practice that believes listening and being approachable are the key elements to their success. 

Team: Their equine vets draw on their broad depth of experience to provide solutions, treatment options and readily advise on the most appropriate management of each individual case. Their equine vets are always keen to take on challenges, explore new methods, techniques, and treatments for the benefit of horses. They believe communication is essential in the vet/horse owner relationship.

Duties: This is an ambulatory equine vet role with purpose-built facilities to work up cases. A cross-section of horses and a range of veterinary skills. Reproduction, lameness as well as the usual routine work. 

Hours: This is a full-time position working 4.5 days per week 8.30 am - 6.30 pm. OOH rota is 1:6 weeknights and weekends
