Permanent Equine Veterinary Surgeon - Chorley

Job Title: Permanent Equine Veterinary Surgeon

Type: Equine

Location: Chorley, Lancashire

Practice Type: Part of a group

Team and Facilities: This is a busy first opinion 9 Vet team with well-equipped facilities including DR radiography, laser, gastroscope, 5 ultrasound scanners and motorised dental equipment in each vehicle

Role: The role will be both ambulatory and clinic-based. An interest in medicine, surgery or stud work would be advantageous. Ideally, they would like someone with experience but would consider a knowledgeable graduate who has good practical skills

Hours: The role can be full or part-time, with flexible hours to suit both parties

Weekend/OOHs: 1 in 6-8 out of hours rota

Salary: Competitive salary and benefits, depending on experience

Holiday: 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays

CPD: Yes

Healthcare: Yes

Other: RCVS and VDS fees paid and BEVA membership all provided
