We are working with a client in North Yorkshire that has a fantastic opportunity for an equine veterinary surgeon to join their practice on a permanent basis.
The Practice
Our client has a purpose built equine department of their veterinary practice that has a superb reputation dedicated to providing quality professional care for horses in numerous equestrian disciplines. Their practice has a highly experienced and qualified nine-vet team working from three sites across North Yorkshire. The original clinic boasts excellent surgical and medical facilities with an in-house CEMO accredited laboratory whilst simultaneously providing an ambulatory service 24/7. Our client also has branch practices in North Yorkshire that are primarily ambulatory practices, with some in-patient facilities, offering a full service including digital radiography and ultrasound, lameness investigation, airway endoscopy and stud services. They ensure every need of every horse from the athletic racehorse to a child’s pony will be fulfilled to their customary high standard.
The Role
Our client is looking for an equine surgeon, whether newly qualified or experienced, to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. They are looking for a vet that has either completed their surgical residency or is coming out of it.
This role would suit someone that wants to take on a surgery caseload but understands that this is a growing role and will not be 100% surgical from the outset. Some mentoring of interns will be required as part of this role, so you must be comfortable with this.

To qualify for this position you must be fully registered with the RCVS and you must be eligible to work in the UK.
