Permanent Full-Time Registered Veterinary Nurse - Worcester

We are working with a friendly small animal veterinary practice in Worcester that is looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their time on a full-time permanent basis. At the practice, you will carry out a wide range of nursing duties predominantly with cats, dogs, and small mammal species.

The Practice:

Our client is a busy first opinion practice that provides high-quality care with a dedicated client base. They are looking for an enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse who believes in the importance of teamwork as much as we do. You will join a team of 3 Veterinary Surgeons, 2 RVN's, 1 SVN, and 5 receptionists. The surgery itself is bright, spacious, and air-conditioned and was purpose-built to industry-leading standards which has state of the art equipment including an X-ray machine, ultrasound, multi-parameter, endoscope, tonometer, diathermy, cryo, in house laboratory equipment including idexx catalyst, procyte, sedivue, and UA analyser. 

The Role and Candidate:

This role would suit an ambitious Registered nurse with great communication skills who is looking to utilise all of their nursing skills whilst working alongside a positive and passionate team. Our client believes in the nursing team developing themselves. In their team, they currently have RVNs who are trained in massage therapy and a qualified behaviourist and certificate holder in behaviour. Also, there are RVNs studying towards certificates in medical nursing and emergency and critical care. They could also offer career progression for the right candidate. You will be supporting and working alongside 6 vets. They have surgery certificate holders plus vets studying towards medical and ultrasonography certificates. This position is full time averaging 40 hours a week and including a weekend rota of 1 in 3.
