Permanent Full-time Veterinary Surgeon - Essex

We have a great opportunity for a small animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly practice based in Upminster, Essex. Your working week will be split between two practices approximately 10 miles apart.

Our client is looking for an experienced Vet that is looking for a practice to develop their existing sole charge skills whilst also working in a bigger team.

The Practice

You will be joining a team of highly dedicated veterinary surgeons and veterinary nurses offering an excellent standard of clinical care for all of their patients. Within the staff, there are many highly skilled Veterinary Surgeons who, along with day to day preventative care and treatments, can also offer care in some specialist aspect of veterinary medicine and surgery.

There are support and expertise available in our clients' other local practices, including orthopaedic surgery, dentistry, ophthalmology, and exotic medicine. There are close links between the sites and you will be able to further develop these links, collaborating with colleagues and utilising the facilities and equipment available. 

The Role and Candidate:

Our client is looking for an experienced vet to join their friendly practices your role would see your week split two practices approximately 10 miles apart. This provides the best of both worlds; growing and developing service as the sole vet in one and working as part of a larger team and the support which goes with it. There is great scope to develop your own interests and expertise in this exciting role.

This role is for a permanent Veterinary Surgeon to work on a full-time basis. The exact working pattern is to be confirmed but will involve a weekend rota with time off in lieu and no out of hours work.
