We are working with a successful and expanding practice in Redditch, Worcestershire, that is looking for a full-time Veterinary Surgeon to join them on a permanent basis.
The Practice
Since opening 10 years ago, this practice has gone from strength to strength and is now spread over two floors which include 5 consult rooms, two theatres, a separate diagnostic room, separate cat/dog/small furries/isolation wards, and a quiet room for studying or working up cases. The surgery is also fully equipped with a digital X-ray machine, ultrasound, dental X-ray, tonopen, BP Doppler, and extensive in-house laboratory equipment. The team comprises of 6 full and 1 part-time Vet, 5 Nurses, 2 Student Nurses, and a team of 5 Receptionists. There is a strong focus on teamwork and work-life balance, with rotas often reviewed to ensure everyone benefits and has job satisfaction.
The Role and Candidate
The practice is looking for a full-time Vet to work 40 hours a week with 1 in 3 weekends on a rota basis with no OOH. You will need to be comfortable with sole charge as this will be occasionally required.
Experience in medicine and surgery, including most abdominal surgeries, would be ideal along with demonstrable communication and interpersonal skills.
