We are working with a fantastic independent practice in Liverpool, who are in search of a Veterinary Surgeon to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis.
The Practice:
As you would expect from a practice, they are equipped with all the latest equipment and facilities, including Digital X-ray, Ultrasound, IDEXX Lab equipment, Endoscope etc. The practice prides themselves in forming lasting relationships with patients and their owners, and have a fantastic team of 4 full-time vets, 1 part-time vet and 6 nurses.
The Role:
The practice requires a vet to work weekdays from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, with 1:3 Saturdays 9:00 am to 11:00 am finish per week. Days are a mixture of consults and operations undertaken on a rota basis. Vets have the opportunity to carry their own cases through from start to finish.
There is no out of hours requirement, this is covered by an external provider.
There is unlikely to be any sole charge required in this role, but if this arises support is on hand.
In return the practice can offer a salary from £30,000 upwards depending on experience, along with RCVS fees, CPD allowance, pension scheme and 4 weeks holiday plus bank holidays.
The Candidate:
The practice is happy to consider applicants of all experience levels from recently qualified to more experience vets. The ideal candidate will be friendly and outgoing, and fit in well with the existing team.
