Permanent Full-Time Veterinary Surgeon - Livingston
We are working with a practice in Livingston, West Lothian, that is looking for a full-time Veterinary Surgeon to join them on a permanent basis.
The Practice:
This practice is close to a good selection of local amenities and public transport links and less than 2 miles to Livingston North & Livingston South train stations. The practice is built to industry-leading standards and has all of the usual equipment you would expect.
The Role and Candidate:
This is a full-time role, 40 hours per week, and some weekends depending on the rota. You'll need strong general medical experience with demonstrable surgical skills and confidence in communicating with owners and their pets. Key to your success will be your ability to embrace all aspects of the role and have a genuine care for animal welfare. The team is really important and you should want to be part of a fun, kind, and inclusive workforce.
The Package:
- Very competitive Salary depending on experience – (range: £40,000-£60,000 DOE)
- 5.5 weeks paid holiday, not including bank holidays

- 30 minutes of case/CPD discussion every weekday for vets – allocated in the diary

- Shared late vet rota for last-minute emergency cases
- Varied weekly workload – comprising of 2 x consulting days/1 x Ops day/1 x Duty Vet
- No sole charge required, experienced team of vets/nurses available for case support
