Permanent Full-time Veterinary Surgeon - Wakefield

Facilities: Digital X-ray, Ultrasound (S6/S8 from IMV x 3), IM3 dental machines, Abaxis lab equipment, endoscopy, multiparameter monitoring, Tonopen, Bair Hugger and ventilator

Hours: Four-day working week

Weekends/OOHs: 1 in 4 weekends and 1 in 9 OOHs. OOHs run Mon-Fri 5 pm -Midnight, with on-call until 8 am for inpatients only

Salary: £35,000 - £60,000 depending on experience. Additional certificates/experience may negotiate a higher salary bracket

CPD: Yes, £1750 per annum

Holidays: 5 weeks plus bank holiday entitlement and an additional buy-and-sell scheme. Whilst they do require Bank Holiday cover throughout the year, this is shared equally amongst the team and they fully close the practice on Christmas Day
