We are working with a group of 3 practices in Inner South London that are looking for a Head Veterinary Nurse to join the team for the flagship site in Islington.
The Practice:
This practice is one of the top providers of veterinary care in their area and has a strong team of 8 vets, most of which are certificate holders in Medicine or Surgery. The practice also has an array of facilities to provide a full service of care and very rarely refer any patients. All branches are modern and fully equipped with up to date surgical and diagnostic equipment. They offer a range of services ranging from free puppy and kitten consultations, vaccinations, spaying and neutering, digital x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound, separate dog and cat facilities and a fully equipped in-house laboratory. They have a large, friendly team of vets and nurses who are all highly trained and regularly kept up to date with ongoing training to ensure all staff has up to date knowledge with the advances of veterinary medicine and surgery.
The Role:
You will be working as the head nurse of the practice, all typical head nursing duties, leadership, rota's, clinical work etc.
The practice works to a very high standard and includes some great facilities including digital x-rays (including dental) and laparoscopy. You will be working alongside excellent RVN (4-5) team and some very experienced and well-qualified vets.
The Candidate:
A minimum of 4 years qualified experience is desirable, you do not need previous head nurse experience, but this is desirable.

Hours: Full time, 40 Hours per week
Weekends: 1:3- 1:6 dependent on staffing
Out of hours: No out of hours
Sole charge: No
Salary: £27,000 to £34,000 (D.O.E)
