We are recruiting on behalf of a busy veterinary Practice in Edinburgh, Scotland that is looking to recruit a Senior / Head Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

They’re equipped to the highest standards and they have an experienced group of vets and nurses who provide the best possible care. Our client has been looking after the pets in Scotland for over 50 years and one of their practices boasts an RCVS accredited hospital.
Their friendly and caring vet service has a reputation built on pet-focused care and exceeding client expectations as they deliver the finest and most compassionate care around. Every pet is treated as one of their own.
The Role:
This is a full-time role, working 40 hours a week and this is flexible to either be 4 days of 10-hour days or 5 days of 8-hour days. There are no OOH and there will be some Saturday mornings on a rota.
The Candidate:
Ideally, you will have 3+ years’ post graduate experience. You will be good at working as part of a team, be motivated in your profession, have good communication skills and be able to demonstrate empathy. It is important that you can integrate into the community and with the veterinary team. Someone with emergency experience is required too.
This is a great role for someone wanting to develop into a more senior position no previous head nurse experience is required. Should have good leadership skills and be able to organise.
