Permanent Head Reigstered Veterinary Nurse, Crewe
We are working with a well-establish veterinary practice in the Crewe area that is looking for a Head Registered Veterinary Nurse to join them on a full-time permanent basis. This role would suit a candidate that always treats patients as they would their own animal and has excellent client care.
Our clients' aim within the practice is to treat their patients as though they were their own animals and to treat clients in the way they would wish to be dealt with themselves. This philosophy should be carried through at all levels, in terms of demeanour, appearance, professionalism, and communication (between vets, clients, external providers such as laboratories and staff). You all have a part to play in ensuring the smooth running of the various aspects of the practice. All members of staff are expected to work to the highest of clinical standards. Support and training will be provided to ensure these standards of clinical excellence are attained.
You will be joining a vibrant, happy team of receptionists, nurses and vets who enjoy their job and provide a high level of customer service. They have a strong team ethos and pride themselves in delivering excellent clinical care, an infectious team spirit and strong relationships with clients and their pets.
The Role and Candidate:
This is a full-time permanent role where you will be working 37.5 hours per week on a rota system between 8:30 am to 6:30 pm plus 1:4 Saturdays 8:30 am to 12 noon (which is taken as TOIL). Plus a requirement to share in the Bank Holiday rota at the hospital practice which usually requires working one Bank Holiday per year.
Applicants must be fully qualified and committed to creating and maintaining the highest standards of nursing care and professional performance. The Head Nurse will be responsible for developing their friendly nursing team so a clinical coach is preferred (but not essential as training can be supported).
