We are working with a large, modern purpose-built veterinary clinic in Waltham Forest, North London that is looking for a Head Veterinary Nurse to join them on a full-time permanent basis. As the Head Nurse you will be a key part of the leadership team working alongside the Business Manager and Head Vet, as well as being part of the Head Nurse team across all our clients 9 clinics.
The Practice:
This is a purpose-built practice with state of the art facilities offers gold standard care and always puts its team and work/life balance first. They have all the latest equipment, with a digital x-ray, ultrasound, in-house laboratory and much more. Their facilities are well-suited to vets with advanced surgical interest and the practice has a varied and interesting caseload. Plus, they support certificates, managerial and leadership development. You will be working with a growing team of 4.5 Vets, 7 Nurses (mix of VCAs, SVNs & RVNs), 3 Receptionists.
The Role:
This is a full-time permanent role, working 40 hours per week and will include weekends on a 1 in 4 rota (with time given off in lieu). There are no out of hour requirement for this role, giving you a great work and life balance. The practice can be flexible so would look at your requirements too.

As the Head Nurse you will be a key part of the leadership team working alongside the Business Manager and Head Vet. You will also be part of the Head Nurse team across all clinics (they have 9 in total), working together to learn from each other and develop new initiatives. As a respected member of the team they also encourage you to be involved with in-house CPD lectures, whether just as free learning or to give them yourself if you’re brave enough!
