Permanent Head Veterinary Nurse - Guildford

Location: Guildford

Practice: An independent family-run veterinary practice

Team: 2 vets and 2 nurses 1 receptionist and Practice Manager

Facilities: High spec practice - Modern skills and equipment (digital radiography, laparoscopy, endoscopy, in-house lab machines, and more) with traditional values and ethos.

Duties: Working closely with the lead vet to build a successful practice, ensure practice standards are met, and provide excellent customer service, and exceptional animal care. Manage the nursing team, recruiting where necessary, and managing Rota - work closely with all the team to build the business. 

Shift Pattern: Full-time, working pattern to be discussed in the interview

Weekends: Yes - rota to be discussed

OOHS: The night staff rota should cover this 

Experience/Skills: Qualified VN, you will ideally have held a Head Nurse position before. You will be experienced in protocol and able to work autonomously, assist in surgery, lap spay experience and people management skills. 

Salary Offered: Excellent salary of between £32,000-£35,000 p/a - dependent on skills and experience
