Our client is looking for a motivated, proven leader to head their Nursing team here at their growing RCVS accredited small animal practice in South Wales.

The Practice:

Our client provides expert, caring services for pets in the Swansea area. Whether a dog or cat needs neutering or spaying, micro-chipping or vaccinations they can help pets live a long and happy life.

They are a passionate team of skilled professionals who share their knowledge working together to empower their clients. Continually improving thei expertise ensures that they consistently deliver gold standard service and provide best veterinary care.

Their nursing team is at the forefront of the practice and have the opportunity to utilise all their skills.

The Role and Candidate:

Our client is looking for someone who is competent and confident in all nursing duties, including nurse consultations, lab work, in patient care and theatre assistance. Alongside nursing duties, as the Head Nurse you would be driven, have first class organisation and communication skills and the ability to delegate where needed.

As Head Nurse you would oversee the nursing team and their continual development. Working with the Head Vet in clinical governance. As a member of the executive team you will meet regularly with the Practice Manager, Head Receptionist and Head Vet in a supportive environment.

You will be able to demonstrate excellent performance, a proven track record in customer service, team work and delivering results.

This is a full-time permanent role that will include Saturday mornings on a rota basis. There are no out of hours or Bank Holiday requirements for this role.
