Our client has a large, modern, purpose-built veterinary clinic and they are looking for Head Veterinary Surgeon/Clinical Director to join them on a full-time permanent basis. They are looking for a Vet who is passionate about clinical excellence, will be a role model of their ethics and values and will be responsible for motivating the veterinary team to deliver gold standard care every time.
The Practice:
This practice has all the latest equipment, with a digital x-ray, ultrasound, in-house laboratory and much more. Their facilities are well-suited to vets with advanced surgical interest and they have a varied and interesting caseload. Plus, they support certificates, managerial and leadership development. All of their Head Vets have a wider role as part of the group’s leadership team where input in activities and company direction is encouraged.
The Role:
Your standard working hours will be 37 hours per week (4 days a week). You will be required to work shifts within the practice opening hours. You will also be part of the weekend rota too, working 1 in every 4 weekends. You will get time off during the week to make up for the weekend hours worked. Please note, these opening hours will change when the practices provide overnight care and obtain hospital status.
