An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head Veterinary Surgeon to join a practice based in Slough, Berkshire on a full-time permanent basis.
The Practice:
This bright, spacious practice offers the latest state-of-the-art equipment, to ensure prompt diagnoses and the most effective treatments. Their purpose built, modern surgery has been designed to industry leading standards and has state of the art equipment including in-house operating theatre and laboratory, digital x-ray, specialist dental equipment and much more. You will be joining a forward thinking practice who pride themselves on ensuring the quality of care they give to all their patients and clients.
The Role:
This is a permanent full-time position for a Head Veterinary Surgeon. You will become part of a supportive established team of 7 people (2 Vets, 1 RVN, 2 Trainee Nurses and 2 Care Assistants). The whole team is dedicated to providing superb standards of client and animal care. There are no Out of Hours with this role.
The Candidate:
The successful applicant will have great people skills, a good general surgical and medical background, will work well in a team and be confident with sole charge. You must also have good communication skills and enjoy building relationships with clients, the patients and the practice team. An interest in exotics or imaging would be a bonus.
