We are working with a veterinary hospital near to the border of South East London and Kent that is looking for a junior Veterinary Surgeon to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. This would suit a vet with some post-graduate experience that is looking for a position that will hone your skills and provide career progression.
This well established independent Tier 3 veterinary practice can be found in an easily accessible location in Kent. As well as their main hospital practice they have a total of 7 clinics which are accessible around the Kent area. Throughout their practices, they are able to cater for cats, dogs, rabbits and most small furries & exotics and have created as soothing an environment as possible for their patients and their owners. Their vets are able to build long-lasting relationships with their clients and have access to a wide range of diagnostic tools.
At this practice, their Junior Vets are the backbone of their emergency and in-patient care. You will be given formal guidance and support via senior mentors, but will also have the freedom to manage your busy caseload and work closely with clients.
When you are not on inpatient duties you will cover shifts across the branches, the mobile unit and the hospital, which will give you exposure to all aspects the vet role.
This is a full-time role of which night shifts form a part of, with 4 nights worked in a block every 6 weeks. The weekend rota is ever other of which you will work part of the weekend.
For this position, you would need to be able to drive and have access to a car.
This position would suit a Veterinary Surgeon that has some post-graduate experience that is looking for a supportive environment where you can hone your skills, find your place and really have an impact and career progression.
